Hey peeps! Crazy here. Well guess what? It’s not the 24th yet, and Card-Jitsu Fire is available to play! Club Penguin LIES!! I haven’t been reading the What’s New blog, so tell me if I missed something! Anyway, I thought I’d check it out, and it’s pretty cool. It’s time for the inside scoop, or behind the scenes! Whatever you call it!
Ok, so Card-Jitsu Fire is a 2-4 player game. Like the last game, you play until you’re good enough to fight Sensei and win the prize. This time, the prize is a Fire Suit! I’m guessing it’s like the one that Sensei wears in the videos, if you haven’t seen them already.
So yeah. A suit like that. Now let me tell you how to play, according to what I’ve experienced
- When at least two players have joined, you enter the game at the top of the volcano. Each player has their own window, either yellow, green, purple, or a different shade of blue, but one of the people quit, so it looked like a darkish-greenish.
- When you take a turn, you start by choosing a tile in the middle of the volcano. Each tile has a number on it, but you can’t see it until you flip one over. The numbers tell you that you have to choose a tile that’s the number of spaces away from you on either side. So here’s what it looks like:
- Then as you can see in that picture, some of the surrounding image tiles glow according to the player’s window color. You choose one of the selected tiles to choose a card.
- After you choose an image tile (snowflake means only snow cards are chosen, same with fire and water, and the red white and blue with the three elements lets you choose any of the elements, and the two blue cards means a Card-Jitsu match. As I advance in the game, I will let you know.), it will darken the cards that you cannot use in your deck, and put a yellow arrow next to the ones you can use.
- White rectangles in the shape of the card will pop up, and each player is timed to choose a card. Just like last time, the person with the highest number wins, or the element that rules out the others. There can be tied winners in this process.
- Now, you have a small ball of fire with a number in it next to your window. That is your energy. If you win, you either keep your energy, or gain more. If you lose on anything, you lose one energy. If you win a card-jitsu match, you gain one energy. Pretty simple.
- You keep playing this way until somebody loses all their energy. I went to a big fat 0 on energy, and the game ended. At the end of the game, you get a rank. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. In this case, I got 2nd.
Well, that’s pretty much it! I’m going to learn more myself, and update this post according to what I’ve learned. Comment telling me if I’m wrong and what you found!
Oh, and also, you can check your progress by clicking a deck of cards in the right-hand corner of the screen.
I’m not even close to getting my Magma Suit! Come on Sensei! I deserve it!
